Barclay re-appointed Deputy Minority Leader

— Assemblyman Will Barclay was recently re-appointed Deputy Minority Leader to the Republican Conference by Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb for 2013.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity again to serve in a leadership role in the Assembly,” said Barclay, who represents residents of Assembly District 120, which includes Lysander. “I look forward again to working closely with the Leader on the many initiatives put forth through our conference.”

In addition to his reappointment as Minority Leader, Barclay will serve on the following Assembly Committees: Energy, Judiciary, Rules and Ways and Means. He is also currently the ranking member on the Insurance Committee.

“These committees allow me to work on the ground level of many issues and participate in crafting legislation that impacts all New Yorkers,” Barclay said. “I look forward to continuing the work we did last year on these committees, to improve our entire state.”
