Lisa Hogan stands in front of a dresser she refurbished at Shabby Chic Boutique in Fayetteville.
continued Shabby Chic had its grand opening on Feb. 16 and Hogan says that business has been “phenomenal.” She’s already looking to collaborate with the florist, located downstairs in the barn for events in the future. But more than anything, she hopes that her items will help people remember and appreciate the past.
“I love to see people use things from the past,” Hogan said. “We’re so busy these days; we hardly sit down for dinner with our kids anymore. I’d love to see people use my pieces to entertain with a touch of class, when they pour tea from an old teapot or offer fruit and yogurt using vintage glassware.”
Shabby Chic Boutique is located in the Canal Barn at 7070 Cedar Bay Road in Fayetteville. For more information, visit shabbychiccny.com or call 558-1832.
