— The students at St. Mary’s Academy celebrated Catholic Schools Week recently enjoying a week filled with fun activities.


St. Mary’s Academy hosts talent show.

The week began with a Mass on Sunday to kick off the celebration. Each day, the students enjoyed an activity, which was outside their normal school day.


St. Mary’s Academy hosts breakfast honoring grandparents.

On Monday, the students showed their school spirit by wearing their spirit clothes and participating in a pep rally followed by an ice cream treat. Tuesday was Sports Day and the students showed off their talent in the St. Mary’s Talent Show. Wednesday, wacky-tacky day, highlighted the students in their wackiest clothing. They also enjoyed an assembly called the Show of Love, which focused on character education.

On Thursday, the students enjoyed beach day and a sub lunch. At the end of the day, the students challenged the teachers to a volleyball game in the gym. To finish off the week, St. Mary’s Academy hosted a grandparent’s breakfast to honor all grandparents.
