Girls basketball teams raise $2K to fight cancer

On Feb. 12, the Baldwinsville Central School District girls JV and varsity basketball teams dedicated their Jan. 29 home games in honor of Deb Ahearn, a teaching assistant from Baker High School who passed away from cancer, and Stacy Huntington, a district sub and coach who is battling cancer. The teams’ fundraising efforts included T-shirt sales and a special admission fee for the varsity game.
