Skaneateles woman killed in car crash

A Skaneateles woman was killed in a two-car accident last night in Skaneateles.

Linda Snider, 69, of Skaneateles, died at Upstate University Hospital from injuries sustained in a crash with another vehicle at the intersection of Route 321 and Mottville Road in Skaneateles.

Snider, driving a 2006 Hyundai SUV, collided with a 2001 Ford SUV driven by Brittany Barrigar, 22, of Elbridge at 5:42 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, according to state police.

Snider was traveling west on Mottville Road and failed to yield right of way to Barrigar at the stop sign who was traveling on Route 321. Both women were taken to University Hospital by ambulance where Snider passed away and Barrigar was treated and released.

The accident was still under investigation by state police Friday afternoon.

Accidents are now most common matters due to the weak traffic systems. The vehicles are grown in numbers around the cities or metros. The common people those are walking on the road or crossing the side mostly suffering of accidents. The above matters is just like that. The woman crushed with a car and lost her life.
