1 to 3 p.m. — Local artist book signing event, Common Grounds, 35 Albany St. Local author Delaney Spangler will sign copies of her new young adult fiction/fantasy novel “Caged Birds.”
2 p.m. — ScrabbleFest, Cazenovia Public Library Community. Play scrabble to promote literacy. Ages 8 to adult. Prizes. Free admission. Room Sponsored by Rotary Club.
8 to 11 p.m. — Winterfest Dance, high school gym. Students of Cazenovia High School and guests only. Admission is $3.
7 p.m. — Snowball to benefit Cazenovia Community Preschool. Hosted by the Brae Loch Inn. Live music featuring “All About Eve.” Hors d’oevres, raffles, silent auction, cash bar and more. Tickets $20 at Brae Loch or call the CCP at 655-7234

All day — Snow sculptures throughout the village, weather permitting.
10 a.m. — Snowshoe/Road Race/Walk at Highland Forest. 5k and 10k race and walk on wooded trails, starts at lodge. New Fun Race for kids added this year. Proceeds to benefit veterans via “Team Red, White and Blue.” Running race will be conducted in lieu of snowshoeing if there is no snow. Entry form and information at bikeloft.com.
