Volunteer Firemen’s Association bowling tournament coming to Caz

Annual event to be held Feb. 9 and 10

— The Madison County Volunteer Firemen’s Association annual bowling tournament will be hosted by the Cazenovia Volunteer Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary on Saturday, Feb. 9, and Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Caz Sports Bowl, located in the Town & Country Plaza on Route 20 East in Cazenovia.

This tournament raises funds for Madison County Volunteer Firefighters in their time of need due to illness, burnouts. etc. All volunteer fire departments and auxiliaries are welcome to participate in this event and are eligible for prize money, but only Madison County volunteer firefighters are eligible for funds when needed.

Last yearn 41 teams participated in this event. The first 10 places were paid, and last years winners were: 1st-Fayetteville, 2nd-Cazenovia, 3rd-DeRuyter, 4th-Wampsville, 5th-New Berlin Old Timers, 6th-Chittenango, 7th-East Syracuse, 8th-Erieville, 9th-DeRuyter and 10th-Georgetown. We also pay for High Series Game.

Raffles will be done during all sessions of the tournament & 50/50 raffles will also be held.
