Skaneateles girls take second at league indoor meet

Neal wins 3,000 meters; Molnar prevails in pole vault

— Carson Schwab earned another victory in the pole vault. By clearing 12 feet, Schwab claimed his battle with Solvay’s Josh Marotti, who was second by topping 11’6”.

In the 4x800 relay, Max Dwyer, Nick Smolenski, Dan Wolfanger and Patrick Biver earned second place in 3:40.63, edged out at the wire by CBA, who won in 3:39.74.

Nate Molnar earned third place in the shot put, heaving it 43’4 ¾”, while the Lakers gained a fourth-place time of 1:41.53 in the 4x200 relay, Smolenski also taking part in this relay with Ethan Johanns and Dan Stabile.

Ari Hristoduolou was seventh in the long jump, going 17’5 ½”, just 2 ½ inches out of the points, while Connor Hurley was ninth (34’11 ¾”) in the triple jump and Scott Harrop took ninth in the 55-meter dash. Ty Winkleman was 12th in the 300-meter dash and Walker Porter took 13th in the 600-meter run.
