Potocki, Knapp, Lacey all provide big wins in 2-0 start

By himself, Potocki also won twice, improving his time in the 200 IM to 2:07.07 to beat Auburn’s Nick Radell (2:11.60), and then going through the 100 butterfly in 55.95 seconds to make sure the Maroons’ Nick Lupo (57.16 seconds) didn’t catch him.

Lacey proved spectacular in the 500 freestyle, tearing to first place in a Section III season-best 4:49.47. Dieroff, in another diving victory, moved his total to 239.05 points, while Wanamaker had 199.5 points.

Sargon Bebla (1:09.22) edged Connor Evans (1:11.61) in the 100 breaststroke as Potocki, Bebla, Martin and Ben Katsarsky claimed the 200 medley relay in 1:50.20. Sawyer was second (24.04 seconds) to Auburn’s Collin Mitchell (22.73 seconds) in the 50 freestyle, with Street the runner-up in the 100 backstroke (1:03.45) behind the Maroons’ Jacob Whiting (59.74 seconds).
