Liverpool boys hoops wins twice in Niagara Falls

Warriors impressive as it rolls past Depew, Sweet Home

But the Warriors saved putting it away until the third quarter, when it outscored Sweet Home 19-11, and did so while once again nicely spreading its offense around.

Jaydakis Scott, fresh off his superb sophomore season with the Liverpool football team, matched Sullivan as they both got 12 points, with Taylor adding 11 points. Chris Allen, with seven points, and Hunter, with six points, also made solid contributions.

And this leads Liverpool to Tuesday’s early-season showdown with rival Cicero-North Syracuse, one of two tough road games as the Warriors also must visit top Class AA contender Fayetteville-Manlius on Friday night.
