Girls basketball Bees win Middleton Tournament

B'ville edges RFA in finals; Miller named tournament MVP

— Neither side could put together any kind of sustained run. B’ville, inched back in front, 34-32, going to the final period, but again RFA pushed back, sending the contest into the final minute without a resolution.

But Pascale sank a big 3-pointer to put the Bees ahead for good, and DeFazio added a free throw down the stretch to help clinch it as she got a team-high 11 points, adding four rebounds.

Pascale added 10 points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals. Miller, who had a career-high 11 blocks to go with nine points and five rebounds, was named tournament MVP, while Carlucci got 11 rebounds and five points, and Sarah Abraham managed six points. Tricia Loso, an All-Tournament selection, led RFA with 12 points.

B’ville spends the first week of December on the road, visiting Auburn Wednesday night and going to Central Square on Friday night.
