Baldwinsville Six Baker High School students enrolled in the OCM BOCES Automotive Technology and Automotive Collision Technology programs were recently recognized for their outstanding achievements through the Snap-On Tools for Success awards program.
The students, selected by their OCM BOCES classroom instructors for their excellent automotive technology, math and science skills, as well as outstanding classroom participation, attendance and attitude, each received a certificate of excellence and a Snap-On Tools screwdriver, valued at more than $50.
Those recognized from the Automotive Collision Technology program are David Bird and Austin Lyke. Those recognized from the Automotive Technology program are Eric Shorney, Joe Granholm, Justin Hildreth and Nick Romeo.
One student from each classroom was also awarded a black-handled screwdriver award, representing the “best of the best” in their field. This was awarded to Shorney and Hildreth.
