CBA romps past Whitesboro, Cortland

Mackenzie Everding scored three times, adding an assist. Esposito, Fero and Hotchkiss each got two goals and two assists, with Ryu and Carly Primo earning the other goals. Olivia Tejan added an assist.

Christian Brothers Academy, coming off a 9-7 home loss to Honoeye Falls-Lima on April 20, rebounded by smashing Whitesboro 22-0 last Monday night, a game where the Brothers led 13-0 at halftime and got the entire roster some playing time.

Marisa Romeo and Maddie Cook both had four goals, with Romeo adding four assists. Taylor Poplawski, Rachel Vercillo, Katie Anderson and Hailey Dobbins each scored twice. Rachel Perla, Olivia Pitonzo, Alyssa Pitonzo and Lilly Hunt all ended up with one goal and one assist. Rachel Ziemba and Maddie Caulkins added single goals.

A 17-2 romp over Cortland followed on Thursday night. Romeo, with four goals and three assists, and Poplawski, with three goals and two assists, set the pace as CBA amassed a 12-2 lead by halftime.

Emily Ehle added three goals and one assist, just ahead of Perla (two goals, two assists) and Olivia Pitonzo (one goal, three assists), while Cook, Alyssa Pitonzo, Amanda Fess and Lexi Luthringer also put in goals.
