You definitely want to be in the library on April 25 if only for the bake sale, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – come get a delicious snack or dessert for the whole family. This is one bake sale you do not want to miss.
Last Thursday Book Club
This month we’ll discuss two different books on one of America’s most famous first couples. Participants can choose between “Eleanor and Franklin: the story of their relationship,” by Joseph P. Lash or “Franklin and Eleanor: an extraordinary marriage,” by Hazel Rowley. This month’s meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25.
Friday Tech Drop In
Bring us your smartphones, ereaders and laptops that you are yearning to use freely but have not quite figured out yet and we will do our best to help set you on the road to mastery from 10 a.m. to noon every Friday morning in the computer classroom.
You've seen Justin Lymner's soaps on sale at local events, but now you can make soap under his instruction at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. He brings everything you need: soap base, molds, colors and scents. You bring your imagination. Registration and a $5 materials fee are required.

Pull thread, not hair
The Pulling Threads group gets together from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 1 and May 15 next month and the first and third Wednesdays of every month to work on quilts, sewing projects, crochet, whatever you're interested in. Tables are available to lay out your work and no registration is needed.
