— Elden Elementary School held its sixth annual Dunkin’ Donuts for Dudes, a celebration of male role models, on April 11. Students invited their fathers or another male role model to join them at school for a donut and a beverage before the school day began. The event encourages male role models to become more involved in the school.

Demonstrating true community spirit, the Dunkin’ Donuts franchise in Baldwinsville donated all of the donuts, coffee and condiments needed for the event. Wegman’s provided the school with a $75 gift card to purchase nut-free items, the Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant donated two $25 gift cards for a raffle and fifth-grade teacher Christie Brooks contributed two baskets filled with fun summer items for the raffle.
