J-D swept all four of the field events, Patrece Martin going 33’9” in the triple jump and Tangela Hightower excelling in the discus with a throw of 100’6”. Martin also helped Keane, Ally Fox and Taylor-Rae Danforth as the Rams roared to first in the 4x100 in 52.8 seconds.
On their own, Fox, in the 100 sprint (13.4 seconds) and Danforth, in the 100 hurdles (19.3 seconds), both got individual titles, with Carpenter beating the field in the 400 in 1:07.8. Allison Semmel needed 1:15.3 to get first place in the 400 hurdles.
While CBA struggled here, it did see Megan-Ann Pierce win the 3,000 in Friday’s rain-soaked East Syracuse-Minoa Invitational, her time of 10:40.68 beating Skaneateles freshman Kaitlyn Neal (10:45.22) and the rest of the 33-runner field.
