Baldwinsville The Central New York Association of Family and Consumer Science Educators will honor two Baldwinsville family and consumer science teachers at the association’s annual banquet in May.
Megan Osetek, a FACS teacher at Ray Middle School, has been named the recipient of the CNYAFCSE Promising New Professional Award. The award recognizes and encourages teachers who are beginning their careers in FACS education.
Christina Rode, a FACS teacher at Baker High School, has been named the recipient of the CNYAFCSE FCCLA Advisor of the Year Award. This award recognizes a teacher’s contributions to his or her Family, Career and Community Leaders of America chapter through advisement, community projects and student centered activities.
Both teachers will receive their awards at the association’s annual banquet on May 7.
