— April is winding to a close, but it’s far from over yet. The budget and trustee vote is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 25, and is open to all residents of the Baldwinsville School District 18 and up. Come in cast your vote and take advantage of our spring bake and book sales while you’re here.


Protect yourself on the Internet. We’ll show you the basics of protecting your identity and your devices at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24. Discover how to avoid viruses and scams while using the web and e-mail. Registration is required.

Time to stitch it up

Summer’s coming – it’s time to clean up those nagging sewing projects before gardening season. Join other local sewers at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the community room.

Baldwinsville Public Library budget vote

Come to the library on Thursday, April 25, to cast your vote on the 2013-14 library budget. The polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; any U.S. citizen who is 18 years of age or older and has been a resident of the Baldwinsville School District for at least 30 days is eligible to vote. Two library board trustee positions will also be decided in this vote. A flier detailing the budget and those nominated for positions on the board will be available in the library and throughout the community as well as posted on the library’s website.

Book and media sale

Stock up for those summer Sundays when you can’t visit the library. The library’s annual spring book sale is being held Thursday, April 25, through Monday, April 29, during regular library hours. Come early to get the best selection then come back the last two days for the bag sale and pick up extra goodies you can afford to leave on the plane or at the summer camp. We provide the bags and you fill them up for one low price.
