— Former Baldwinsville Kiwanis Treasurer John Denny and current Treasurer Don Hilfiger recently presented a check for $7,500 to Ray Grabowski from the Baldwinsville Little League.

The Baldwinsville Kiwanis decided to assist the Baldwinsville Little League with their efforts to convert the current majors’ ballfield into a dual purpose majors/50 to 70 field. The newly constructed field will allow for a mid level field to be available for those crossing over from the traditional little league size field (40 to 60) to the full size regulation baseball diamond (60 to 90).

The little league park at Reeves Fields in Baldwinsville will be one of the few divisions in the district to have such a field that should allow them to attract baseball tournaments, which will bring added revenues to the organization.
