— B’ville Cares attendees (from left) Laci Bonnell, Adriana Fernandez, Haydon Chrysler, Austin Chrysler, (standing, from left) Zack Bonnell and Ravin Klint display bags they recently decorated, which were used to transport lunch for Meals on Wheels recipients. The youth decorated the bags on Monday, March 25. “They have been decorating bags for all the past holidays for Meals on Wheels, but were most excited to do the Easter ones because of the spring and bright colors,” said program organizer Janet Therrien. “They also wanted to cheer up the elderly.” B’ville Cares is a youth program open to children in kindergarten through sixth grades from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays (when school is in session) at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 2840 Cold Springs Road, B’ville. Volunteers help youth with homework, provide a snack and drink and work on a craft or project during the program.
