Junior high students raise money for Special Olympics athletes

— The Durgee Junior High School Leadership Team is raising money to provide jerseys for Baldwinsville students who will be participating in the Special Olympics this spring. On March 20, members of the DLT presented several Durgee students with a check for $486.70 that the DLT raised through a foul shooting contest and donations.

The DLT is continuing to accept donations. If you would like to make a donation, please send your check, made out to the Durgee Leadership Team, to: Christopher Marciniak, Guidance Office, Durgee Junior High School, 29 East Oneida St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
