— Baldwinsville Sharks Swim Club members (from right) Summer McClintic, Grace Smith, Allie Conner and Brooke Atkinson are four of five girls to recently achieve gold times enabling them to recently compete in a gold meet in Buffalo along with their teammate Sammy. Swimmers must achieve certain times/scores in order to compete in special silver or gold meets; gold meets require the fastest times, which makes qualifying tough. Summer swims in the girls 10 and under division; she competed in the 100 back, 50 fly and 200 individual medley. Grace swims in the 11- to 12-year-old girls’ group; she competed in the 100 back, 50 fly, 100 IM, 50 breast, 50 free and 100 breast. Brooke and Allie both swim in the women's 15 and over division; Allie competed in the 50 free, 100 fly and 200 breast while Brooke competed in the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 breast and 100 breast. In USA swimming, the girls’ team is part of the Niagara division. All the girls did a great job.
