Arrest made in Cicero burglaries

— On Sept. 24, Cicero Police Investigator James Meyers arrested a 16-year-old from Clay and charged him with burglary in the second degree, petit larceny and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

It is the policy of Eagle Newspapers to allow all defendants under the age of 18 to remain anonymous.

The youth was responsible for breaking into several vehicles in Johns Landing in Cicero earlier in September, as well as stealing a truck. Another youth was also arrested in that incident.

The youth was arraigned in Cicero Town Court by Judge Robert Walczyk and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center under bail of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
