Baldwinsville JTS Music, featuring Joe Trionfero, of Baldwinsville, has returned to the local music scene.
The very popular DJ and Entertainment Company performed at thousands of receptions and parties during the 1980s and 1990s. Trionfero had established a great reputation for being an interactive entertainer and Emcee. His trademark style of being “down to earth” and energetic helped him to become a household name when you were planning a wedding or party.
Taking a break from the industry for the past 10 years, Trionfero has written and performed his “Show of Love” assembly program at more than 4,000 schools all over New York. During his time as a motivational speaker, the Oswego native has also developed a very effective anti-bullying program entitled “Put Yourself in Their Shoes,” which addresses a topic that has become paramount over the last few years.
This unique entertainment style has been also put to good use as Trionfero’s
“Thanks for the Memories” show has entertained thousands of senior citizens across much of New York for the past 10 years at hundreds of senior facilities.
The reason for his return to his roots at this time, Trionfero said, is two-fold.
“It’s time to get off the road and come back home to Central New York and, second, it just seemed like a natural step in the process to close out my career by doing something I loved so much,” he said.
He then quoted his father.
“As my dad says, ‘You should leave the dance with who brought you,’” Trionfero said.
Speaking of resurgence, Trionfero is also delighted to announce the return of Side by Side, a band that he and Paul Vandish performed in throughout the area in the 1970s. The duo was a home town favorite, which featured Vandish’s lead vocals and lots and lots of fun.
