Whatever the decision, whichever of the three sites is chosen, the community will benefit, but why not sooner rather than later? While the other two locations would require starting from scratch, the Town Center Plaza is already a standing structure and it’s close to the school. Wouldn’t that choice be a no-brainer? The quicker the front doors open, the quicker the kids get off the streets, the healthier the neighborhoods are and perhaps even a life or two is saved. A local “Y” has that kind of power.

There is a certain sound that pervades the inner walls of a YMCA. It is the sound of vitality, of joy, of life. The locals can’t wait to hear it, so build it and they will come.
