“Last year we came here and gave up three goals in the first 15 (minutes),” Reynolds said. “We were just out of it the whole time. It makes a big difference this year because they showed that fight. They knew they weren’t out of it, but they kept on working.
“So as far as early in the season and a loss, I’ll take it. I don’t like it, but I’ll take.”
The teams face off again in a rematch on Oct. 9 at the Sean Googin Sports Complex in Cazenovia.
