— As many of the parents of young children in Cazenovia have expressed the need for an infant swing in Cazenovia, the local MOMS Club recently donated an infant/toddler swing to Lakeside Park.

The MOMS Club of Cazenovia worked with the village to make the addition to the park a reality. Project leaders coordinated the purchase of the swing with Cazenovia Village Parks Commissioner Dave Porter, and Public Works Administrator Bill Carr took care of the hardware and installation. The swing was installed on Aug. 29.

The MOMS Club of Cazenovia currently boasts 14 members. The group budgets for several community service projects throughout the year. The cost of the swing was paid for with funds from the club’s service project budget.
