Congressman Richard Hanna will visit Cazenovia on Saturday, Sept. 15.
Susan and Leigh Baldwin will host Hanna from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Lincklaen House, located at 79 Albany St. in Cazenovia. Congressman David Dreier, of California, will be the special guest.
Hanna was an Upstate businessman for nearly 30 years prior to his election to Congress in 2010. His priorities in Congress focus on helping local businesses and constituents.
Recently, Hanna was a key negotiator on the bipartisan transportation bill that provides funding to repair roads and bridges in area communities. He has proposed a constituent services plan for Madison County that includes holding office hours around the county and helping first responders, seniors and veterans who need assistance with the federal government.
Hanna is one of two members of Congress to post explanations of the votes he takes in the House of Representatives on his website. Because of the redistricting process, he hopes to represent Madison County starting in 2013.
