— The Escape from the Judge was one of the four races that make up the annual SkanRaces Labor Day event, along with the Skinnyman, the Coon Hill Grind and the Road Race. Participants competing in all four races were eligible for the “I’m All That” competition, which combines all four race results.

“In our eighth year of exceptional racing, more racers than ever expressed how much they loved the races and other Skaneateles activities over Labor Day weekend,” said Chris Legg, SkanRaces activities director. “We hope everyone enjoyed the SkanRaces.com Labor Day Fireworks at the Skaneateles Firemen's Field Days as our thank you to the community for support. We look forward to making grants from our proceeds in the coming months to promote active, healthy lifestyles for people of all ages and abilities.”

This year’s top race finishers were:

Escape from the Judge: Summer Schmitt, first place; Joshua David Lacey, second place; Brett M. Ryan, third place.

Skinnyman: Craig Baumgartner, first place; Andy Powell, second place; Eric Hinman, third place.

Coon Hill Grind: Craig Baumgartner, first place; Len Engel, second place; Maxim Jacques Berube, third place.
