Baldwinsville Baldwinsville Oktoberfest will be here soon and needs your help. This family fun, two-day event will run from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, and from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. The Village of Baldwinsville is looking for volunteers to help conduct a traffic study of trucks coming through the "four corners" intersection for three days sometime during the next two weeks. Volunteers would be given a chair and form to check off and a safety vest to wear during their three-hour shift. Shifts will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you can help and are age 14 and older, please call Steve at the village office at 635-9665.

Calling all Baker High juniors and seniors: Would you like to make a difference in the life of a younger student? Our Mentoring Program will pair you with a student needing some extra one-on-one attention for about 30 minutes once a week after school. If you would like to become a mentor, please check with your English teacher for an application during the week of Sept. 10.
