LETTERS: Cub Scouts to remove docks, raise funds

To the editor:

Cub Scout Pack 54 of New Woodstock would like to thank the public for their past support of fundraisers enabling the boys to attend scouting camps, learn life skills by earning badges and contributing to the community while embracing the call to manhood.

One of the pack’s current fundraisers is the removal of docks from most Madison County lakes, including Cazenovia, Bradley Brook, Eaton Brook, Earlville, Hatch, Lebanon and Tuscarora. To schedule an appointment, call Owen at 454-7975.

The boys are also out selling gourmet peanuts and popcorn. On Election Day, the scouts will host a spaghetti dinner from noon to 7 p.m. at the Federated Church of New Woodstock.

We now have open enrollment for boys and fathers/mothers interested in nurturing their relationships while having lots of fun teaching life skills. Call 454-7975 if interested.
