But if her family is looking to try her award-winning raspberry filled chocolate cupcakes this Thanksgiving, or even at Christmas, they could be out of luck.
“The cupcakes that I made last year and the cupcakes that I made this year I will probably never make again,” Kobliski said. “Except that because I won the green ribbon, I have to make a new batch for Labor Day, when they select the best of the fair from the ten people who won their divisions. So I have to make them one more time.”
“The raspberry filling was far more difficult than I thought it was gonna be. I’m ready to retire them, basically,” she said, laughing. “Maybe I’ll make them in a few years, but probably not before then.”
