Girls Bees still unbeaten after more sweeps

Two nights later, the Bees swept Central Square 25-9, 25-10, 25-11, one of its most lopsided victories of the season to date.

Even with fewer rallies, Thayer upped her total to 25 assists, as Bell earned six kills and two blocks, May added five kills and Lagoy got four kills and two blocks. Whitney helped out with three aces and two kills, while Aiello had three digs, two aces and two kills.

This dominant run continued for B’ville in Thursday night’s 25-5, 25-7, 25-11 sweep over Nottingham, where the Bees recorded 27 aces, eight of them by Sarah Herman. Lagoy finished with six aces, while Melissa Voyer had four aces and four kills. Herman, Samantha Cannon and Maddy Price managed four kills apiece.
