— The only Keep the Ball Rolling planning meeting for 2012 will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the Baker High School Library. Those wishing to volunteer for KBR 2013 are strongly encouraged to attend for there are limited planning sessions this year: this meeting and meetings Jan. 14, March 11 and May 20. Each year, more than 70 volunteers have stepped forward to help decorate the auditorium, prepare and serve food, and supervise the various activities. They report it is quite rewarding – and reassuring – to see the seniors enjoying the safe, alcohol and drug-free environment created for them by the KBR volunteers.
