Cazenovia With the holiday season fast approaching, Project CAFÉ is getting ready to host its fifth annual Toy Shop on Dec. 7 and 8 at Burton Street Elementary School.
In the past, Project CAFÉ members have collected, repaired and sold gently used toys, books and stuffed animals.
Last year, the event was a big success with an accumulation of 1,700 toys, hundreds of books and stuffed animals and a total profit of $1,454 that was used to support other charitable causes.
This year, Project CAFÉ plans on continuing the tradition of giving back to the community. Please help by dropping off gently used toys starting Nov. 1 at any of the following locations: Common Grounds, New WoodStock Library, St. James Church, St. Peter’s Church, Cazenovia elementary, middle and high schools and the Cazenovia Children’s House locations.
Donations are also welcome and can be sent to the Project CAFÉ office at PO Box 408, Cazenovia, NY, 13035.
Get in the holiday spirit early by donating your gently used toys to make a child’s Christmas special.
