“One of the key areas I’m hyper-focused on is communication,” he said. “I want teachers, parents and students to know what happened, what is going on and what we are doing in the future.”
Hacker has his Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from Syracuse University. His master’s degree from Le Moyne College is in special/elementary education, while his bachelor’s in psychology and sociology is from SUNY Fredonia.
Hacker enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children’s events and activities, reading, going to the gym and supporting Syracuse University athletics. He and his wife, Carla, a teacher in the North Syracuse Central School District, live in Liverpool with their two children, Kaeden and Natalie.
