— The DeWitt Community Library's 50th Anniversary Year draws to a close. The library celebrated this milestone throughout the year, highlighted by a successful Silent Auction in April and the 50th Anniversary Fair: Readin’ & Rockin’ since ’62 in September.

"It’s been great fun. We’ve made a lot of new friends, reminisced with patrons and supporters, and, perhaps most importantly, created memories together," said Wendy Scott, executive director.

Now, the library wants to hear from you. How has the DCL made a difference in your life or the lives of your family? Whether it's been help to earn a degree, get a better job, instill a love of learning in your children, or being a source of inspiration and enrichment throughout your life, the library wants to hear your story.

To make it easier for you to share, the library has created a form, available at the library and at dewlib.org. The form may be dropped off at the library's front desk or mailed to Wendy Scott, Executive Director at DeWitt Community Library, 3649 Erie Blvd. East, DeWitt, NY 13214. Please include your name and a contact phone number and/or email address.

A selection of stories and memories will appear in a future DCL Newsletter and on a Memory Book page on the website. The library looks forward to hearing from you!
