continued “No matter who wins any of these races, we want to make sure this democracy is strong, and that means good voter turnout,” he said. “Anybody that comes to cast their ballot, that makes a difference.”
The Democrat, who cast his votes for himself, as well as President Barack Obama and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, said he and his wife, Abby, would spend the day keeping busy.
“We make sure we hit all the important stops — Our Lady of Pompei, the Dunbar Center, we’ll spend some time holding signs and shaking hands — it’s important to keep ourselves busy,” he said. “It’s up to the voters now.”
