Baker High School held its annual Moving Up Day ceremony on Friday, May 25. The event awards more than $100,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, many of which are funded through the Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation.
Baldwinsville — Baker High School held its annual Moving Up Day ceremony on Friday, May 25. The event awards more than $100,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, many of which are funded through the Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation. This year, 171 scholarships were distributed to the class of 2012. Once the scholarships are awarded, seniors are dismissed as they "move up,” juniors move to the senior section and sophomores then move to the junior section to represent their “moving up.”
