Baldwinsville The B’ville Visitor’s Center, located on Lock 24, will be opening soon to greet boaters and other visitors to our community and offer helpful information about where to find services, restaurants, points of interest and events happening in and around our area. Volunteers staff the center for a two-hour shift between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. For more information about volunteering at the center, please call Nancy Porter at 638-1655.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is recruiting young men aged 18 and older to serve as camp counselors from June 23 through 29 at the Rotary Sunshine Camp in Rush. Tour de Cure ride for the American Diabetes Association needs volunteers for their event on Sunday, June 3, at Verona Beach State Park. Volunteers can help with registration, serving breakfast and lunch, route guides and cleanup.
