— At McNamara Elementary School, Jeffrey Seltzer, the school’s social worker, and art teacher Leslie Nicoletti worked with 10 students from second grade through fourth grade to create original artwork that illustrates the district’s 10 character education traits. Each poster depicts an action that reflects a character trait, such as self-discipline and integrity. The framed posters prominently hang in key spots throughout the building to remind all students of the importance of these traits. The school’s PTA provided the funds for the project.
