Robert Cudworth named grand marshal of Camillus Memorial Day Parade

— Once in Camillus, Cudworth established himself in the marketing and advertising industry. He became involved in the community and hasn’t left, raising three children as graduates of West Genesee High School. Of six grandchildren, one also graduated from the district.

He’s a long-time member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and has also delivered for ECHO Meals on Wheels for many years. His wife, Catherine, is a member of St. Joseph’s Church of Camillus.

The annual parade will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 28. The theme is “Because they gave their all.” Prior to the parade, a 7:45 a.m. ceremony is held at Town Hall with a 21 gun salute and officers from the fire departments, police departments and politicians. A second ceremony is held at the Senior Center, following the parade.
