To the editor:
Although I am not a resident of the village of Cazenovia, I daily travel its streets and bridges.
The Clark Street bridge had become unsafe to use and was closed to traffic. It was originally estimated to be closed for anywhere from five to 10 years.
Through the tireless efforts of then-Cazenovia Village Trustee and now-Mayor Kurt Wheeler, money was secured from New York State Assemblyman Bill Magee.
The bridge has now been repaired in less than one year and once again is open to traffic thanks to the hard work of Public Works Administrator Bill Carr and his crew. I am a grateful resident of the town of Cazenovia.
