During the event, Baldwinsville resident Marty Pond, RN, MS, RN-BC was awarded the nursing education award, which recognizes a nurse who mentors and teaches nursing practice excellence and collaboration.

Liz Bistrovich, RN, CCRN, and Michelle Stiles, RN, RNC were also recognized with the nursing practice award and the nursing leadership award, respectively. Highlights included a luncheon, special dinner for the third shift nurses, refreshments, massages and stress relievers for all, and the third annual Nurses Day Awards.
