Help support Cystic Fibrosis research

To the editor:

Last year our school and community team raised over $2,500 for Cystic Fibrosis research. Our team, Caden’s Buddies, with co-captains Anne Montreal, Joanne Williams and Janet Fagal are again asking for your support.

The Great Strides Walk is this Sat. May 19 at the Inner Harbor in Syracuse. We and many others are walking to make a difference. We want to turn CF into Cure Found.

Even if you cannot join in at the walk, you can make a donation very easily and securely at CFF.org. Almost 90 percent of all funds raised go to research and patient needs. Great advances have been made thanks to the LIFE SAVING work done by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, but there is still a long way to go. Since CF is an orphan disease, no government money goes towards finding the cure.

Our student, Caden Custer, his friend Tess Michaels and all the others who suffer with this genetic disease need you. Please give what you can and help our dream of finding the cure for CF come true. To see a video on Youtube about why we need you, type in Team Tess in the search box.

Many thanks from Caden’s teachers, friends and family,

Anne Montreal, Joanne Williams and Janet Fagal
