Girls track Lakers crush field in OHSL Liberty meet

Winn, Biviano both prevail twice; Muller wins boys pole vault

— In the 4x800 relay, Cudney, Marshall, Karker and Margaret Wolsey were third in 10:19.77, with Marshall joining Karker, Wolsey and Colleen Stadler for sixth in the 4x400.

Cazenovia’s boys track team, led again by Dylan Muller, earned 32 points for seventh place in the nine-team OHSL Liberty field as CBA, with 132 points, claimed the top spot.

Again, Muller came close to his school record of 13 feet 2 inches in the pole vault, clearing exactly 13 feet to win that event. In the triple jump, Muller went 40’3 ¾” and finished second to Khiary Gale (Skaneateles), who won with 45’3”, and Muller took sixth in the 400 spring in 54.45 seconds.

Cameron Braathen stepped up, too, as he gained third place in the discus with a throw of 118’11” and added a fourth in the shot put with 42’11”. Shawn Satchwell was fifth in the 3,200-meter run in 10:51.61, and added a sixth (4:54.25) in the mile.
