B’ville elementary collects more than $1,000 to fight disease

The school recently conducted the school-wide fundraiser with students and staff donating pennies and other loose change for a total of $1,081.37. Two representatives from each classroom in the building helped to promote the drive throughout the school and on April 23, the representatives presented the school’s donation to Wood, a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor.
