Mayor Olson: Thank you voters for continued support

To the editor:

My thanks to all the residents of Fayetteville who came out and voted this past Tuesday. In an election year when not a race was contested, more than 240 people took time out of their busy schedule and voted. For the past eight years I’ve been truly blessed to serve as your mayor and I look forward to the next four years.

Over the past eight years my office, along with the village board, has worked hard to maintain the quality of life for all residents. Everything we have done we have done to improve our village quality of life. Whether they are physical enhancements or programs, they have been accomplished through teamwork at all levels of the village as well as with a lot of help from state and local officials.

Over the next four years we will continue these efforts. There are many projects happening over the next year that will help continue this tradition of making Fayetteville the best place to live in Upstate New York.

I look forward to the next four years and am excited for the village of Fayetteville. I firmly believe our village is going to continue to grow and increase opportunities for all residents. I promise I will continue to work as hard as I can each and every day on your behalf. Thank you again for supporting my reelection.

Mark Olson, Mayor of Fayetteville
