B’ville residents compete in 4-H Club challenge

— Onondaga County 4-H Club members are pictured during the Region 3 Horse Bonanza held March 10. The club had 19 youth beginning with five novice (first year), six junior (second year through age 13) and eight senior (ages 14 to 19) youth. All the youth participated in Horse Bowl (a challenge similar to Jeopardy), Hippology (different stations with questions), a group challenge and a written test. Baldwinsville residents Aubrey Dibble and Jennifer Sandore, both juniors at Baker High School, competed in the events. Sandore, a member of the Baldwinsville group 4-H 4-Ever Horses, will compete in Hippology in the fourth region. Overall, the club has six members going on to the state level, which takes place April 21 at Cornell University; Hippology will be held Aug. 26 at the New York State Fair.
