— The Baldwinsville Volunteer Center invites the public to celebrate volunteers in Baldwinsville for the year 2011. This event is held annually to honor an outstanding man and woman who go above and beyond to give back to the community of Baldwinsville through volunteerism.

This year's event will be held Saturday, April 21, at the Red Mill Inn in Baldwinsville. The evening starts at 5 p.m. with cocktail hour, followed by a 6 p.m. award presentation.

“It is always an exciting moment as the year’s award winners are announced much to their surprise,” said Nancy Conley, director of the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center.

A buffet dinner catered by Tabitha's Family Tree will immediately follow the award presentation.

The cost for this event is $28 a person and a pre-paid reservation is required by April 13. To reserve a spot, mail checks (payable to the Volunteer Center) to the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center, 44 Oswego St., Baldwinsville 13027. You may also drop a check off in person between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays at the Volunteer Center. For more information, call Conley at 638-0251.
